I know I overfeed a little(hate to see the trigger with a skinny belly).
And I use filtered tap water but not RO/DI.

    If you were me .
What would you get next for a Hair algea and cyno problem.

A RO/DI(Do I realy need the DI part??)
    or a UV

I have been cutting back on feedings and doing water changes.

I just want to hit this stuff hard with something:hammer::rifle::uzi:that will keep it at bay.
    Thanks all

Before you go out buying anything, you need to find what is causing it first. How is your NH3, NO3 and PO4 levels?
I think your problem is that your using tap water. I dont trust any tap water. You should get your tap water tested.
