Is there a solvent that will make it easier to remove dry silicone from glass along with razor? I am shortening my overrflow box on my drilled out 20 long and want to get rid of the old silicone lines left on the glass.

Try denatured alcohol. I was told that it would losen cured silicone, but haven't tried it my self. I do used alcohol for clean up of un-cured silicone and it works like a top. Hope it helps.

Matt just alittle tid-bit I have used acrysol before and I personally would never use it on my tank. I am 99% sure it is toxic to humans. My rule of thumb is if it can kill me its not going in the tank.

    Yeah I figured. Thanks..

I got one side done, I had rubbing alcohol in the house and that helps a lot. I just kept wetting a towel with it and reapplying after scraping a bit.
