Default Quick Question...

as some of you may know..im currently cycling my 100 gallon cube... on the 8th day... i see pods... is it normal to have pods developing so early? is it a good sign? or will these pods die through the cycle??

Current Tank : 100g 31"x31"x28" cube, Cycling, 4.5"(220lbs) DSB, Fluval 405, SEIO 860gph, 2x1100lph powerheads,95 lbs rock.

Past Tanks :
4ft x 2ft x 2ft FO Predator tank, Panther grouper, huma Trigger, Chocalate Sail Catfish, Niger Trigger, stars and stripes puffer.

4ft x 2ft x 2ft Species Tank, Australian Wobbegong shark

1.5ft x .5ft x 1ft species tank 3 x juvenile Reef Catfish.

It is a good sign to see pods and other critters! You may have some die off but I don't think anything drastic. They are very hardy and should survive and multiply!!!
How awesome to have a tank with a wobbegong shark!!!! That would be awesome to have, however, we can't get them in the States. I'd like to get a stingray or skate for one of my tanks if they stay small!

I had to hand feed my wobbegong...cos it was a slow mover... it just kinda sat there.until it smelt the food...and it would snap ... never got used to it..scared the crap outta me everytime... it was like the time i had pirahnas... and when i put a feeder fish into the tank...the whole tank would just literally shudder with activity... maybe im sick... lol

Ha, thats awsome. As for the pods, im sure some will die in the cycle but not all of them, and they love to have fun...if you know what i mean ha. Gotta love the wobbegongs.
