Ok so my AGA 75 gallon RR ultimate project started officially a few months ago, I am however still collecting parts/equipment to finish it up and get it running..

I need to know what pump would any of you recommend for a 75 gallon in my sump. The stand from floor to top of aquarium is: 49" in height.

The sump is a 20 long.

    What will be in sump:
roughly 50lbs of LR, 2 perc's, blennie, cherub angel fish, couple big snails, couple hermit crabs, and a emerald crab

What will be added after setup: Maybe more LR... zoa's, mushrooms, bubble tip nem

Skimmer I purchased is the Euro-Reef RS 135: [IMG] Welcome to Euro-Reef, Inc.!!

Lighting: T5 Tek Light more than likely... perhaps a 12x54watt custom fixture.. not positive yet. FYI: I don't plan on keeping any sps.

    1000th POST!

Are you planning on putting fish in the sump? and that light may be overkill for LPS and softies..........

the line to sump connects to a bulkhead that has an overflow around it, and the other comes from return pump and back to tank!

how fast is your overflow running at, for me i get a pump that is just a little bigger and attach an inline ball value to adjust the flow.

went to LFS today and purchased, mag drive 7 for return pump, overflow was rated around 550-600... pump was around 450 @ 4ft. We'll see if i need a mag 9.5 or not w/ a ball valve after i get everything setup and running.

Our megaflow's are rated @ 600.... you should try to match that i was told... so i went with the mag 7 which is around 450 @ 4ft
