I saw someone selling these on ebay, he was claiming that they are brilliant filter feeders and help reduce nitrates. When they spawn they offer a brilliant nutrition for fish and reef alike.

Does anyone have any experience in keeping these??

I would avoid them. Most oysters live in water colder than what we keep in our tanks and they will require alot of planktonic food to live.

most oysters tolerate temps upto 90 and feed off of algae and diatoms, but they are hard to keep alive.
