Default One Month Old!

Happy one month birthday to my tank! Gone is the gross murky water of yesterday. All my complaining and concern, and it was just doin' its thing! Def. a newbie, huh?!

Today I have nice clear water, even the diluted tea look is gone. I have decided that I need a magnifying glass to keep near my aquarium. Yesterday I found a worm of some sort browsin' around on my rocks. He was about an inch long and disappeared in a tiny hole when he noticed me. I also have what looks like little bugs poking around as well. First I noticed them on the rocks, and this morning there are hundreds on my glass. They are about the size of a grain of sugar.

Thank you to those yesterday, for their advice! I am finding it difficult to bid my time and wait for nature to take its course. I wanna have an "Instant Reef", and the knowledgeable advice that I am finding here is helping me to take my time and do it right!

The little white things should/could be copepods. A good sign of tank cycleing. Congrats!

Congrats! Sounds like you have copepods which is a good thing. I remember freaking out when I saw all those little white things on my glass.

Copepods are a great thing, bristle worms in moderation are another really good thing. I would not remove them or if I did I would out them into my fuge or sump.
