| Ogles Mescoscope I think everyone here at one point has thought about how cool it would be to have a microscope that you could put on the glass of your aquarium some how to check things out. Well somebody made one! Check this out: Ogles Mesoscope Bigger Image here.
More info: OGLES MESOSCOPE
Check out their site for more info or read a detailed review in this October's FAMA magazine.
Anyone have one?

| One of my friends played with one quite a bit at IMAC. She said it was very cool and wants one. Another one of my friends "borrowed" Anthony Calfo's Oglescope and he didn't like it at all until he found out that to look at corals at the back of the tank, you have to take off one macro adaptor. Anthony travels so much, I doubt he's realized that it's gone.
According to someone who owns it, the pictures taken with it are not as good as one might think. He said while looking through it, everything is very clear but when you put a cheap point and shoot digital into the eyepiece, things get blurrier.
The company is currently developing adaptors to attach to camera's. I think I would email them to determine compatibility if that's your interest. _________ Curt |
