| "Leak" Detector Have long been looking for a similar replacement for my "Coralife" water sensor alarm which crapped out on me long ago. (Alarm started going off for no reason at all - then would not turn off at all. --- apparently a very common problem with them.) --- Did save me from a couple of major floor/tank disasters when first starting out however.
Just found this & placed order.
Protect yourself from water damage! Use where there is a possibility of flooding and prompt notification is a must. It happens everyday. Someone’s hot water heater tank bursts flooding the house or basement with gallons of damaging water. This disaster can be detected early and avoided. Prior to the massive eruption, small amounts of water will leak. Our Flood Alarm can detect these trace amounts of water and alert you. When the alarm sensor detects water, it alerts you immediately with a loud 92dB alarm you can hear throughout your house (sounds for up to three days), and a flashing LED indicator. Place the sensors along a basement wall, near your water heater or washing machine, under the kitchen sink, or use the suction cup to mount them on the wall of a pool, tub or aquarium while filling. The sensor features an 8' (foot) wire that connects it to the alarm unit that can be wall-mounted with self-adhesive pads (included). "Low-battery" indicator. The alarm requires two AA batteries (not included). Features:
Loud 92 dB buzzer sounds for 3 days
Flashing Led indicator
Sensor and alarm can be placed up to 8 feet apart
Low battery indicator
Requires (2) "AA" batteries (not included)
1-year warranty
Will give a review after receiving. _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)

Have one down in my basement, put it there after last time sump pump went out (16" of water) Works like CHAMP!
Float valve filled with water a week ago and backup pump couldn't keep up and that thing woke both me and my wife up!
