| the camera is a digital canon power shot ( s3 is ), image stabilizer ultra sonic, 6 mega pixel, 12x x optical zoom, i shot the pics in super micro. |

| When you shot macro, use tripod
Turn off flash, set ISO of the film to 100 MAX (any higher value introduces lots of noise on black objects). Select the program for INDOOR white balance calculation (as far as I remember Powershots S-series have got underwater white balance program ! Give it a try!). Use timer!
Good luck!
I use SLR Canon 30D, however macro shots look pretty the same on compact Canons!  |

I just bought a new camera as well!!! Though it is for Christmas(girlfriend and me from Santa!!) Reading up on all the advances and what it offers...mind boggling, can't wait to capture pictures of my tanks!
Congrats on the camera and nic pics...have fun with it!!!!!

| i had the iso on hi, no flash, and on a tripod. ill try the indoor program. and there is no film camilsky its digital. coral reefer take the day off work to read the program book, youll need it. nice camera though. |
