| Why not just get a HOB refugium and slove more issues with the tank ? Or consider setting up a sump and a fuge ? _________ Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible (Doug Larson) |

With the money your going to spend on a HOB filter you can build a DIY fuge and PVC overflow. _________ |

| Well can I run my carbon, nitrate sponge or phosphate sponges in a fuge? Can I convert the filter into a fuge and how? I can't do a sump, I'd love to but I just don't have the room. I have also run out of plugs to plug things in. So what can I do to make the filter into a fuge. |

| If by pump you mean a small power head type I'd make myself an air lift tube and do away with a power pump. The air lift would offer more benefits |
