Default need a critter identified

I have a critter in the tank that came along on some live rock. Not sure what it is seems like a snail, but just seems different. For a long time it lived on a piece of live rock and moved around a little and returned to its original spot. Now it is attached to the glass and acting like a snail, but it is flat all around and can't retract into it shell like a snail can.

please help me identify this critter in the square box.

Thanks

Thanks everybody, that's pretty cool how it finds its way back to the same place on the same rock every night. Mine does exactly that.
