| Re: natural seawater I do as well, just recieved 1300 gallons of Catalina Norcal water. *Gotta add that Norcal Matt, don't want to piss off the LA boys (different company). * *I bring it home and do my water changes with it. *I've been doing 5g changes once every couple days for the past 3 weeks. *Its really helped knock my phospates/silica down and bring back my PH/Alk/calcium balance. *I notice a HUGE difference at work with it, everything responds great to it. *My corals seem to LOVE it at home, my new acro's (got sm green colony and a few purple tip frags-wahoo [smiley=biggrinbounce.gif]) have they're polyps extended really far out and did so within 10 minutes after acclimation! *Got to love those Bali aquacultured corals* [smiley=smile.gif]

| Re: natural seawater I'm a little un-decided on the "Catalina" water that I've tried. I used it for about 3 water changes and my tank didn't respond very well to it. It could have been the LFS store I was getting it from though. I've been having pretty good luck with RO water and Instant Ocean.

| Re: natural seawater Im not familiar with Catalina but my LFS just started selling 10 gallon containers of Saltwater... I guess you would call it live water or something?
I will have to look next time I go... it would probly be worth it if you had a small tank but I cat imagine walkin out of the store with 15 of those things |

| Re: natural seawater SpngBob, Catalina, the Los Angeles company trucks their water all over the place, it actually might be from them.
CowboyUp, Catalina Los Angeles gets their water from the Orange Country shipping channel, not to clean of a place. Also, LFS have been known to refill the Catalina container with salt mix and tap water, that could be whats happenning to you |
