My new begining Hi everyone, its me if anyone remembers me! So last week I decided to change everything, from water to sand. After 1/2 a week of letting the sand settle, spend the remainder of the week brushing off sand from the rocks, glass, etc, my tank is looking normal. I was surprised I had no brown algae growth, and I noticed yesterday, green algae is growing on one of my rocks. way cool. tested my tank for a week straight, everything stayed in range, except for Ph, which has now been in range for 4 days. Since I changed my tank, everything is going great. Only lost some of my livestock throughought the change, but that is my fault (didnt think it would take this long!). I still have my immobile crab, and he molted. My damsel lived thru it all also. Lost my polyups and 2 turbos and my scooter (which is depressing cuz I loved that fish. I am destined to keep one alive no matter how hard I try!) Anyways, bought some mushrooms last night, and a zoo was spawning on the same rock, so got 2 for the price of one. they actually open up and keep their color, not like the ones I had before it. way cool. Well just wanted to share my stress and fun! thanks for all the help from those who helped!
