| How many " under the surface is the clam? How far are the T5s above the water?
If T5s are <4" and the clam is <~4" you should be good _________ 14g Oceanic Cube

| Geekdafied, how do u know the clam will be okay? Do you have one under t5's. It is 3 inches from the substrate not from the service, the nova extreme is about 2 inches from the top of the tank, can barely get my arm under it. I am waiting for my epoxy to arrive and then I am going to raise the rock it's on to a higher point in my tank. |

| I have 2 that were in a 40G for 7 to 8 months with just 2X 96W PC (middle of the tank) and always fully opened and very healthy. I recently moved them to to 24G nano w/ MH and they picked up their foot and moved to the bottom. A clam will let you know when they are not happy. While moving rocks from one tank to the other, I moved my smallest clam (attached to a rock for 5 months) to the bottom of the 40G in a corner w/little light and picked up and moved within a few hours! |

| Nice additions!
I also think your clam will do fine. Looks very healthy and "happy" in picture.
If it has already attached itself and not hopping off rock, it is where it wants to be.
Good luck and happy reefing. _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)

| And to think you were ready to quit not too long ago (and weren't you also complaining that you couldn't grow coralline earlier?) |
