 |  My expensive shopping spree
Oh what a day. I got a clam and bright yellowy green zoa's. In between the green zoa's are pinkish ones as well and the rock is full of them. The clam was $35.
My hubby went crazy, he purchased a clam, a leather, and a black clownfish.
The damsel has not attempted to bug the clown at all! Thank god.
The bad part of the day: he purchased a tek t5ho 2 x 24watt retrofit kit and then when we got home it wasn't what we thought it was. No casing at all, all hard wiring and saudering needed. What made my hubby mad was that we were told it came with everything and easy to install...not so. We also had to buy the bulbs a total of $189. Well he could have gotten the marine glo t5ho 2 x 24 watt with bulbs in a nice casing and brackets to hold it to the tank for $149 at big al's. The retrofit kit is going back tomorrow and he's picking up the other light from big als. What made us more upset is that we have a leather and clam in a tank right now with NO fluorescents. I hope they will be okay for the night. Lesson learned. He now has to drive an hour away to return the tek kit. _________ 20g
