Maybe Problem with new tank

Ok I got my new 75 gal tank filled and going on Friday. Have a slight problem. Came back from being gone all Saturday and today and I have streaking deposits on the glass. Was able to clean it off with Mag float and long handle algae scrapper and it came off easily.

Seemed to be like salt deposits and was worse where the water line would be while I prepared a new batch to add even though I had a power head going once the water level was high enough. I mixed 15 gals at a time. Is this normal or will it keep coming back.

Any thoughts?

That's pretty normal when you mix the salt in the tank itself. Shouldn't come back unless you keep making batches in the tank. Which I wouldn't recommend once you get things going.

Thanks for the response. Its all cleaned up now and I will sleep better. Hopefully it wont reappear by morning.

It shouldn't re-appear, the best analogy is probably the ring around the bath tub :-)
