|  Maxijet 1200 Mod
Hey everyone:
I just seen this mod 4 a maxijet 1200. Maket it like a sieo pump. Looks intresting but I still think buying a seio is easier but for those with 8 extra maxijets laying around and nothing to do with your weekend it may be a fun project. Looks like it may be fun to try.

I am going to build two here in the next two weeks. I post a how to too.
I am working on basically turning one into a Tunze style wavebox. It should be interesting.
Reasons to do these instead of a Seio are, they can be used on a wavemaker, they start every time (my SEIOs don't), smaller, cheaper, and more energy efficient specially if you do the dual prop mod.

Yea. I have a Redsea Wavepro running 3 maxijets right now. I also have 1 seio that cant be ran on the wavemaker. Im not as handy at making things. There is a guy on reefcentral that sells the mod....or at least he was a member but he got booted for something unrelated I think.

Yes, I just looked at my local Hobby Town, in the boating section and they have all sorts of nylon props.

cool I will have to stop by there next weekend. Looked in the garage i thought I had the pvc but its 1 1/4 inch. Darn A trip to Home depot is in order. | |
