| Loss of my oldest So after 6 months, my oldest fish, " Flame Angel" has moved on.. This guys has made it through Ich attacks, Beginner water params, tank moves and everything. He was most beautiful. http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/l.../100_61262.jpg
He will be missed.
Odd thing. So I got a new Coral Beauty and immediately the Flame angel was relentless. Chasing around until the Coral Beauty hid under a rock. And event hem he harrased him.
So 24 Hours later, the Coral beuty came out and all of a sudden the Flame angel was lying on the bottom. Still breathing but barely. Immediately took him and put in a storage net within the tank... HE was dead within the hour.
What do we think > Did he swim into a rock and hit his head ? That is what I am going with.
Anyway, the Coral Beuty is out from hiding and happy now that the tank bully is gone...

They are quite beautiful. I think mine freeked out when I introduced another angel. They are know to be bullies though. When I had my snowflake he was quite mellow as he wasnt the tank bully. You need someone to keep him in check.

| sorry to hear of your loss.
i believe that flame angels and coral beauties should not be housed together. this may have led to the unfortunate demise of the flame. at any rate sorry for your loss
