This is my tank in less than a month of cycling. I wanted to point out the white dots on the glass, these are those "jellyfish beginnings" that someone asked about; the stringy, slimey, green algae that is all over the tank; and the C02 bubbles on the rocks and algae. what do you guys think?

Video works fine for me. I can not tell what the white dots are. They are not in focus enough. Sorry... Are they calcium tube worms?? Can you tell if they appear hard or soft?

bruce, my camera is good but not good enough to focus on the white things. but, there is a thread that someone posted that is talking about it. if you search a thread by spiders, its the first thread that shows up. well, someone answered the persons question and they said its a hydroid and they got a 'highly magnified' picture of it. its pretty interesting and exactly that is what i have all over the glass of my tank... i dont know if they are soft or hard, but i clean them with my magnet and they come off after 2 or 3 swipes. unfortunately the filter sticks them back on like 2 minutes later. i cant wait for my cleaning crew!
I am going to be treating my tank with chemiclean red slime remover.. cyano is taking over my glass! I can clean it off and 2 hrs later its back on there.. god luck. let us know how it goes!
im done with my cycle! obviously, the tank is still kind of dirty, but its progressing. i just put 4 turbo snails in and we did a water change, so with the little cleaning we did its looking a lot better... turbo removed the bacteria and he suggested i leave one of my lights off so that it can die out completely.
