Default live rock and sand questions

hi there a few nights ago i put my sand and water and live sand in... the tank is clea now.. but there is still like sand all on my live rock.. should i try to remove it for leave it.. will it stop the live rock from growing its stuff.. or over a period of time it will be okk.. if u can get back to me it would be helpful thanks

It Shouldn't keep things from growing, but if it is bothering you I would imagine it wouldn't hurt to just take a turkey baster and blow it off of the rocks. Might as well get one now because you will be needing it later on for various tasks in a reef tank.
