Default Are kids interested in our tanks

Just thought I'd mention that my kids (aged eleven and eight) are totally into the tank. What is good is that they had so many questions when we started out and now after two months, when I see them talking...read impressing their friends, I figure they have learnt a lot. I think in one way or another we have contributed to their knowledge base in a good way!

What about you guys?

My 3 and 4 year old love my little tank. And its nice to go to my buddies lfs and not have to worry about them tapping on the glass.... Its funny, we are looking at new houses, and one we looked at yesterday had a huge basement, and my 4 year old told his mom, "this would be a good place for dad's fishtank" Proud dad here.......

What is good is that they know when the temp needs to be corrected where new corallaine is starting up.They help out during water changes and my sone loks up the internet to give us basic info on any new fish. What it likes to eat, what temp is good for it and which fish will it hate sharing the tank with.
