| Re: Ideal Size Reef Aquarium u mean a 12 gal nano cube...i have one and wow its alot harder than my 55...mostly because it is less water and less constant...i might connect it with my larger one (when i get it) so it will be more stable |

| Re: Ideal Size Reef Aquarium No I mean a Cube tank. *Where it is just as wide as it is long. *like a 24"x24" foot print. *Very cool. *The pet smart over by me used to have a 150 gal cube. *The foot print was 48"x48". *I loved drooling over that tank.
Check out this tank in the thread Cube Tank |

| Re: Ideal Size Reef Aquarium Boracay House reef tank was 50,000 gallons, covers the whole floor beneath a living room and around 24 400 watt MH lamps.
Not as big as public aquariums but then this was intended only as a home tank!
_________
I retired the reef for now. Maybe a nano or a softies tank in the future when I have both time and money. 60 gallon FOWLR in the meantime. My echidna nebulosa are still going strong! |

| Re: Ideal Size Reef Aquarium Right now I have 3 tanks going if you include the hospital tank. I am selling two after christmas and getting a 125. Thats just about right for a livingroom tank. My little 30 gallon is easier to care for and seems more healthy than my 60 gallon....go figure and it has a crushed aragonite gravel type substrate while my 60 has 5 inch DSB.
