Default I found a couple of starfish, how do i know if thier good or bad?

I found a couple of starfish, how do i know if thier good or bad? They are small, about a quarter of a inch, if that. I found some on the rocks and some in the sand. they look really thin and whitish with long arms. i know it aint the best discription, but thats what i got. any ideas? thanx

They might be baby brisstle stars. When I was cleaning a very forgtten tank at work one day, I moved some rock and dozens of baby brisstle stars were scattering every where to get out of the open, and maybe even the light. The only reason I know these were brisstle stars, is that was the only star fish that was ever present in that tank.

They are good.
You probably have a few hundred and just havn't noticed yet :-)

thanks for the info fellas, this is starting to get a little fun.

Im starting aquascaping though, and im gonna try using a couple pvc pipes, epoxy and LR. I just hope i dont screw up, i dont want to have to chizzle it apart if i dont like it. Maybe ill just stack it first and see if i like it, and if i do i will just add the epoxy later. I dont really have much life in there right now anyways, so i dont have to worry about something messing up my rocks
