| hydor koralia Ok so I am thinking about getting one of these. I just saw them in person and they look really cool and at such an amzing price compared to similar PH's.
My problem is figuring out which one to get. I plan on getting only one and still use my maxijets. I just need some insight, I don't want too much flow that will cause damage to the corals but I want a good amount to keep the tank healthy. So anyone got any insight into these types of PH's?
I currently use for flow:
1 aquaclear ph (176gph)
1 mj1200 (295gph)
1 mj400 (110gph)
plus my filter's gph is 200.
Now would it be better to get a higher gph koralia and ditch one or two maxi's, or anyone got a better idea?
her's the Koralia's in case anyone has yet to do research on them.
Koralia 1 400 gph
Koralia 2 600 gph
Koralia 3 850 gph
Koralia 4 1,200 gph _________ 20g
25lbs LR
1 hydor koralia

| Remember that these aren't designed like regular powerheads!...these difuse the water over a greater area, therefore it isn't like a jet stream of water that could harm coral, this is more gadual so you can go with a stronger Hydor IMO! _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F. | I would hold off getting one, there is a thread going around RC started by pet solutions saying there is a recall on the #2 and #3 powerheads, something about the motor not being sealed right and leaking voltage. |

| thanks for that info. God I am so glad we have this forum, I will hold off till things are figured out. I hope they fix this problem because that is not a problem we reefers need in our tanks. Karma to you. |

| Nothing wrong with Italian manufacturing, this happens with tons of products around the world. As long as they fix the problem, we'll all be better off. |

| Good to know. I do plan on trying one out first. It would be ridiculous buyibg a bunch of them to find out you don't like them. I think I'll wait to till things are fixed. I don't need any other problems. |
