Default How much is moderate flow?

Hi all.

I've had my nano (24g) for a year now, i've finally got all my parameters where i want them and want to start keeping more coral.

Due to the nature of the nanocubes light i have assumed i would have to rule out most if not all SPS.

I;ve been reading up on Tubastrea and frankly it sounds just down my street, with lighting requirements i can easily reach, from what i have been hearing the only troublesome element is the intense feeding regime, which i believe i will have the time to dedicate to.

I meander, basically my question is how much flow is enough? I have heard so many time people (sites) saying this coral requires moderate or strong flow, to me this all sounds so subjective as to be totally useless.

In my tank i have the original pump the nano came with + a hydor koralia 1 + a hydor koralia 2, to me i would consider this moderate but perhaps im totally wrong on this assumption.

I would welcome anyone opinion on this matter, also any tips on success with Tubastrea.

As always thanks for reading and hopefully replying lol

Best wishes.

How many gph are those 2 powerheads? I would say moderate flow imo is what you have.

I think a Koralia 2 on a 24G would create a moderate flow.

Hi.

According to the website the combined flow from the two units is 1000 gph (600 for the 2 400 for the 1) im not sure how much the original nano pump adds, i imagine its not a great deal.
