| People messing in their tanks and moving corals is the 2nd leading cause of tanks problems and animals death after feeding them to death. I hate to put my hands in a tank. I let everything in there work it out like in nature all I do is provide the needed environment requirements for the animals the rest is up to them in . I cringe when The Reef lady of the house plays in there LOL Ohhh I'm in trouble now (: _________ Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible (Doug Larson) |

| You've never seen a pune tang?
It's a relatively expensive species that's mostly nocturnal. They can be agressive so they should be introduced last.
Common foods include:
expensive jewelry
stupid looking shoes
If not fed on a daily basis they will get really agressive and possibly jump ship so precautions should be taken to secure and tank openings. _________ Kris

| Man have we gotten off the subject....
It's not good to have your hands in your tank for a few reasons. The ones that come to mind are the oils on your skin getting into the water and anything you've handled that day runs the risk of getting into your tank.
All of the sudden mowing the grass right before doing tank maintanance has disasterous effects!
If you have to get into your tank I would suggest getting a pair of aqua gloves. Depending on how deep the tank is you might want to get the shoulder length model... |
