ok so before a month ago i had trouble with diatoms and cyanobacteria! and i couldn't lower my nitrate levels i had them at a constant 60ppm.
    Now!! i have
    ammonia-0
    nitrites-0
    nitrates-0
    phosphate-0
    calcium-460
    ph-8.2

There is no trace of any cyano or diatoms! what i did is:
1- weekly 10% water change, syphoning algae on sand
2- added cheato to my fuge/sump
    3- added nassarius snails
4- bought a Tek Light with 2x UVL V-HO super actinics, 2x UVL V-HO actinic white (the odyssea is on sale LOL if anyone wants it)
5- added 30ml of Stress Zyme weekly (thats because i have a 50gal)
6- i added new sand a week ago from all the syphoning that was done!

all these tips i found them here on 3reef on different posts, i just posted them together so anyone in trouble can find a solution, you dont have to do all the 6 tips, i just went big! and decided to terminate my problem hoping it will go forever! and it has for weeks now!
