help with making a spray bar

Hello everyone, I was wanting to put a spray bar on my mag 7 return pump to my 75, and was just wanting any input on exactly how to construct one.
any help would be appreciated.

Here's a link to pictures of the spraybar I made for my tank. Here As Birdlady suggested further down the link I added two more holes between each of the existing holes for better coverage. One important thing to remember if you are doing an open loop (Sump) system is to put a small hole about 1/2 inch or so below the waterline on the vertical riser to break the suction in case of a power failure. Simple to make, the one in the link is made of 1/2" PVC pipe. One trick I did to keep the holes lined up was to put a piece of masking tape from end to end and used the edge of the tape as a guideline for drilling.
