Hard Decisions

Well...i have decided that, due to the limited time im going to be at home...going to college in a few months, i am going to postpone my 38 gal tank...to well. My question is...i still am thinking about upgrading the lights of my 55 gal. I dont know...it just seems that the tank doesnt have a nice shine to it even after new bulbs. I mean i do believe that most of the corals in my tank will do beter under the mhs...basically everything but the colt xenia and kenya...but the zoos and the sps/lps...and the shrooms are already in the shade. But i really dont know how risky it is to put mhs over a tank thats 2 years old and a colt coral that has been under pcs for 1.5 years...any thoughts?
