ive heard about ppl using garlic for a lot of things , i just wanted to know what are all the uses?

it is used a lot of the time because it supposedly wards off ich..i have used it for this reason..but now i usually soak my food in garlic every other feeding just to keep their immune system up

I use kent garlic extreme (i think its called that). My clown had ich and the day after treatment it was gone. Garlic is a wonder drug!

It stimulates their appetite. Just like us, when we are feeling sick, we don't want to eat. It helps them eat in the early stages of ich.

Ich goes through a life cycle where they are sometimes on the fish and sometimes are not. While I like Garlic Extreme, that did not make your ich go away.

I use garlic with my homemade food. I use a lot of fresh seafood, also some freezedried cyclopese and soak it in garlic/selcon for a day before mixing the food. I also add some more to the food processor when I am chopping up everything else, fish go nuts for it and I think it helps ward off infection.

I love ich. When my fish get it my cleaner shrimp and gobies take care of the problem. it's sooooooo nice.....

Setup shop... you won't regret it.
