Question Fragging????

Is there a board dedicated to fragging or how to frag things on here? I have looked and haven't found anything. I am not sure what I am going to frag. I have never done that before and thought about starting with things like my mushrooms, star polyps, ricorida, etc. Just curious.

i would think this would go under the coral section, but wichever, fragging coral is really easy especailly mushrooms just cut off the top cut it into four equal sections and glue it to a rock or just let them sit on a rock and they will attach themselves here is a good site for that Geothermal Aquaculture Research Foundation Home Page

Mushrooms and Ricordea's are fairly easy to do. The easiest is leather corals (except colt corals caust they are super duper slimey).

I'm a little on the busy side with my firm, the store, my mom's cancer treatment, etc. (Typically 16 hour days 7 days per week).

If you need fragging info on a specific coral and PM me, as I have a few spare minutes, I'll try to work up some instructions on how to frag it. I've traveled all over this country over the years and spoken at various cities reef club meetings, done demo's at IMAC's, MACNA's, etc., I ran a fragging business for numerous years, and I'm currently setting up an industrial propagation system consisting of 16 125 gallon tanks that I cut down to 12 inches deep. As soon as I finish my softy/LPS prop systems, I'm going to set up my SPS prop systems which I'm estimating will only be half the size (6 to 8 frag tanks) of the larger system.

This looks like a good website from what I have seen. Corals are really more hearty than we think when it comes to cutting them. I have only done the easy stuff like GSP and xenia so far.
