Default Feeding

I have been feeding my fish once a day for the past few months and they seem happy and healthy , but a friend says I should feed at least twice a day. I have 2 clowns and a Kole tang and the Kole is grazing all day long but the clowns only eat brine when i put it in every night , Is feeding them once a day good enough or should i feed more?

Default Re: Feeding

I think once per day is sufficient. Twice may be better, but sparingly. I hope you are not only feeding brine shrimp? That is not very nutritious

I feed frozen mysis shrimp, Formula one and two cubes (just a little piece at a time, not the whole cube), Cyclopeeze, occasional brine shrimp - live, and Prime Reef Flake food. When I have seafood for dinner, I also will chop up some raw for the fishies and corals I also put some dried seaweed in once per week for my bristletooth tang.

I give them something different each day, not all every day!

Default Re: Feeding

I use frozen mysis skrimp , frozen brine, formula 1 flake, and cut up normal people shrimp (opps, I mean sckrimps) and feed my puffer, snoflake eel, and the clarki clown steals some to feed the carpet anenome.

Usually once a day. Once in a great while, I'll throw in a few live goldfish. And lately I bought some zooplantkon (??? I think thats it).

Does that sound ok? I'm scared lalely of over-feeding. After the cynobacteria accident of 2004.

thanks..
