Default Fan Advice?...Blow or Suck?

Currently have two small computer fans in sump cabinet, one blowing in, one blowing out.

Have one in top (not completely covered) blowing out directly under MH...

Now recently "found" three very well made small AC fans (~5") - much better made then ones regularly found in computers - which I want to mount on board across top of main tank...

Now question is...how to get best cooling efficiency...fans blowing towards water, or away? (Blow/Suck or combo) - They will be about 6" from surface.

All will be run on a thermostat in sump area as that is where it gets warmest first.

Any Advice?

(PS: "Tangster" dump some of those rec'd PM messages...can't send you any till you do...)

OK...here is how turned out...(Fans blowing out, re: Tangster - really makes more sense when one thinks about...)

Old guy in pic (way older then me) is 87 year old Father...a retired MD/US Navy Capt...and a wizard at doing anything with tools. (very much unlike self - ) - but I am good at idea's...

Surface Fans:

KKontrol portable/prewired Thermostat (See post: Need Thermostat to control cooling fans?

Simple...but will work great...already hooked up to thermostat and checked out... (not nearly as noisy as computer fans in sump area)

So now when kicks on 7 fans power up...kind of startling when sitting next to tank when it does...they quiet down considerably once up to speed.

(TIP: If your fans start getting "noisy" check for salt creep on blades...cleaned up mine from heavy use last year and made big difference.)
