Default does anyone have red bali star fish and flower pot?

I just bought red bali star fish and nice size of bright green flower pot coral today. is there anybody have any of these? if yes, how are they, what they eat and are they hardy? my flower pot coral seems fine it opened up in couple hours and i gave him prime spot where the more water fluctuation right on powerhead. star fish he is not moving much but color is nice and i acclimated 30 min. he sits on rock and one of his leg is shorter than other ones. how to feed them? is garlic extreme and vitamin c is ok. b/c i soak the food when i am feeding my fishes.

Your flowerpot (depending on alveopora/goniopora) will most likely give you problems. Good luck! Alveopora being easier than goniopora.

It depends , you don't want direct water flow on this coral. You want to achieve more of a swaying motion. You also need very good water params, and iodine supplement. Depending on lighting you want a medium light as to not bleach it. Goodluck.

If its a Goniopora (24 tentacles on each polyp), it will need daily feedings, if its Alveopora (12 tentacles on each polyp) doesnt require daily feedings. Ive never fed mine in over a year and its grown a lot.

I would seriously question your lfs' advice. Not only is a flowerpot coral an LPS coral (not an SPS) but it is not at all hardy or easy to take care of. Even if it's an alveopora, not a goniopora, it will require special care. Hopefully, your flowerpot is neither an alveopora or a goniopora but until we see a pic, we can't really know what you've got.
