| Discoloration of tank glass On the top 3 inches of my 55gal tank there is sort of a white haze, kinda like you see on some windshields in the morning. It doesn't clean off. It looks like it's part of the glass now. One time a while back I had let the water evaporate down a bit, don't know if that had anything to do with it. Anyone here know what I'm talking about or have a remedy?

Re: Discoloration of tank glass Did you try taking it off with a razorblade? _________ &&Right now I'm in the middle of a conversion from reef to Discus/ planted aquarium. Hair algae beat me down. Maybe a nano in the future. Everything screwed up so I'm converting to FOWLR. Wish me luck.

Re: Discoloration of tank glass Yeah, no luck. I scraped it clean and it feels smooth just like the rest of the glass. Like I say it really seems like it's "in" the glass, if that makes any sense.

Re: Discoloration of tank glass Maybe it's just a calcium film.

Re: Discoloration of tank glass Thanks reefman. I think I'll just try to ignore it and keep the tank.
