Default Digital Timer Suggestions

Hi there, well, since my Coralife Dual Timer has failed TWICE now, I was thinking about taking a trip to Home Depot to pick myself up a digital timer. I preferably want one that is reliable, can switch on/off actinics and 10K lamps separately, and possibly something that is not too pricey.

Any suggestions?

I got mine from HD as well. It has dual outlets, but not dual timers...(that I know of, it has 8 different settings ) Its just a digital sprinkler timer basically, nice and rugged, $14.

So I went down to Home Depot to try and find a new digital timer switch... and UNSUCCESSFUL. They only have timer switches for ONE plug?! The Coralife I had used before had 8 different plugs... so I didn't get one because I wouldn't be able to turn on/off my actinics/10Klamp/moonlights with just ONE plug . Anyway... I take it that is the reason there are not that many suggestions as to a digital swith timer?

Mine has 2, i dont use moonlights. Get a power strip and 3 digital timers. I got a power strip and 3 of the dual outlet timers at home depot. Make sure your looking for digital sprinkler timers, not the ones for in home use. Look for outdoor sprinkler or light timers.

Yes because they have thier own small (1') cord. I guess they could be bulky, I can take a pic of needed.

That would be great, if it isn't too much trouble. And perhaps the brand of timer that you are using.
