| salt creep is created when saltwater sits in an area long enough for the water to dehydrate and leave the salt minerals behind. it seems to creep along anywhere there is a water/air interface. air bubbles blow up a mist of saltwater when they hit the tanks water surface and i was wondering if you have to wipe this down often or at all. sorry for not explaining myself. |

  | Frizza, question on your mushrooms? I have the same type and have had them up hi and down low in my tank and they still will not lay down like yours. What type of lights do you run and what are your water levels at? if i may ask! |

| mummra, there is quite a bit salt creep that sneaks out of the gaps in my hood, but to be honest most of it falls back in!
joe, all I have running is one white and one blue (t5's). My water levels are fairly normal even though the nitrates have gone up to 5. My mushrooms wouldn't open up when I placed them high in the tank. Middle to bottom and they get pretty big. |

  | We'll great job at keeping them happy. Right now i am fighting a nitrate bloom. Tank is almost a year old, i added a mircon sock to my return pipe to get rid of the bubbles and now it is causing my nitrates to go up to 140 and higher. I have a TEK T5-HO system coming so once I get those Nitrates down and the T5's added i hope my shrooms lay down and multiple. |

| Good luck with your shrooms, once their happy they do spread really quickly. I didn't have many but there are new ones popping up all over the place.
Cant you do some major water changes to drop your nitrates? |
