Chlorinate remover

Hi everyone.
Have a general question I dont think I've ever seen here.
If using RO or DI water should you still add a de-chlorinator
before using.
Just wondering what the different opinions are.

No,

The carbon block prior to your sediment block will remove the Chlorine. If you have Chloramines added to your water as opposed to chlorine, you will want to upgrade your carbon block to a chloramine removing one or always let the water sit (preferably with an airstone or powerhead) for a couple of hours to allow the Ammonia to offgas.

sure if the carbon block would remove the cloramines or not.
