We started with a 40 gallon tank and then to a 70 gallon. Never had a lick of trouble with our cats and at one point we had 4. I can see where a small tank could be a problem.

| I have four cats. Sometimes they watch and I have never seen any of them try to get in. If your tank is high make sure you have no surrounding furniture for them to leap onto the tank from it, I use egg crate as a deterant. _________ 20g

| My 4 cats all have jumped up on the table my 5 gal fresh pond WITH LID and stuffed their faces on the glass and sat there for hours. One would be on the table why 3 were on the floor sleeping waiting for their turn lol |
