| black ich hello everyone,
today when i got home i saw that
my yellow tang has black ich. how do i
kill the black ich???

| I've always had good luck with freshwater dips. From what I understand (and this is just from searching the net) the life cycle of black ich is ten days. I did three fresh water dips on my yellow tang over the course of about 3 weeks and haven't seen a trace of it since. I'm not a big fan of medicating fish, although I know some people who swear by it. Good luck

| Feeding garlic laced food has worked for me.
I feed the garlic as part of a preventative and havnt had an out break since(2 years) |

| i tried the dip but it was too hard to catch the fish several times. so i had to setup a hospital tank. i caught him and freshwater dipped and left him in the hospital tank for ten days.
