| A bad weekend for fish So this past couple of days have both sucked and been great, my yellow tang died and i have no idea why which sucked, and then my cat shark hatched so i was happy, but now my newly recieved oriental sweetlips has been found sucked up against the powerhead....... |

| Whenever we lose something like this, hopefully we will be able to learn from this pitfall. It is never a good experience to lose any sort of livestock...
If we are able to learn from our possible mistake(s), we will be better off in the future, and ultimately our tank and its inhabitants will as well. |

| Sorry, Karma for your loss. I've had a terrible month also. Lost my: lyretail anthias, 2 clowns and I found the other day my brand new orange linkia star sucked up to the powerhead. I feel your loss.

| Im really sorry to hear that, theres something I dont understand. All the PH that I have purchased come with a "strainer" so nothing can pass through except water. Are you guys taking it off or modifing it? | Water suction diffusers for the inflow of water by powerheads is standard now, I thought...
Did it fall off your powerhead enabling your Sea Star to get sucked up?
Were you guys able to decipher the reasons behind why your fish had died? |
