Sorry to hear about that Scott. I have a 1/2 hr drive to work and with my 1/2 ton truck runs me about $17 a day to just go to work with the gas millage I get. Really makes you adjust your priorities in life pretty quick.

Daniel072, think about what you just said... if we continue to trash the environment like we have in the past, what good is the American way of life going to do us then?

If there isn't anymore coral reefs there will be no more fish in the ocean, or if there is no forests on land there are no more animals, tell me what good is the American way of life then? If there is no forests and reefs what my friend is going to clean the air we breathe? And if we cant breathe what good is the American way of life then?

And its not just the liberals, its anyone who has eyes and ears and can see and hear whats going on. We all need to make allot of changes and fast, I am not saying we shouldn't drill for oil where we can find it we just need to do it responsibly and not just Willy nilly and destroying things at the same time. We also need to spend way more time and money on finding alternatives the the stuff we are using now.

Oh and I remember going to the corner gas station and getting a gallon of gas for the lawn mower and paying 39 cents, tell me I ain't old!

And sorry omard, we just had one of the LFS close in Romeoville IL, The guy didn't have too much in the way of salt but he did have some and he was a really nice guy. unfortunately he couldn't make it either!

Oh don't get me wrong. I'm not saying go out and wipe out everything we can. I'm just saying we need to think about mankind before anything else. I mean you have people like this poor guy who is having to close his business because he can't afford to keep it open. This is the same guy that's going to be trying to find a job tomorrow and can't because the bleeding heart liberals don't want us to build refineries or drill for oil. They would rather have us buying from terrorists like opec and hugo chavez. Oh and believe me, it hurts me to see the coral reefs getting wiped out too but we have to do what we have to do to survive.
