| Now the anemone is attached like crazy to the bottom of my tank. so I can't move him and he has sand like down in his mouth from me moving all the stuff around. Aquarium looks better with rocks in it tho. wainting for the dust to settle now. |

| be careful as to not set up the rock like a wall against the back glass of your tank!!! It isn't realistic and it will increase diffusion and advection
and it will also decrease water flow!! _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F. | I Built a wall at the back half of my tank just make sure the first few rocks lie flat and stable, space them apart and when you stack them be sure to get loads of cave holes, you will have to lean a few against the back glass, i have 2 powerheads in my 55 and one points along the front the other points along and through the crannies of the back rock, for me this works great moves the detritus round in a circle motion, never settles, hope this helps, experiment, try moveing powerheads around, you will get it .......eventually lol..

| He is the tank after the addition of the rock... The LTA is like under an overhang in the back corner due to his previous location. I guess if he doest like it he will move tomorrow or something. So tell me what you think!
I'm pretty happy with leaving it for now.
Oh and the Xenia was a gift from a friend who said its like a weed in his tank and just wanted to see if he could frag it successfully. So for what its worth I thought it wouldnt hurt to give it a try.
Think I will leave it be for a few months and see what happens to the new rock and stuff. Thank again for the help. |

Thank again for the help. | Very good idea!! Let things settle in and don't rush anything. Good choice on the base rock, it will become live rock in time and color up.
