I'm from Northern California, and was wondering if anyone here could tell me of some really good lfs that speialize in reef aquariums and supplies. Thanks.

For local hardware check out 'Nippon Goldfish Co.' (there is a thread in the general forum with some pics I took there.) also check out 6th Ave Aquarium.

For livestock, check out 'Tropical Paradise.' I haven't been there yet because, without money and water in my tank, I don't want to torture myself.

I"m also from the Bay Area. We've got TONS of stores, all very in quality, ethics and size. I personally would stay CLEAR of any store selling died corals or doing "midnight bag sales". Both of those are not only bad for both the critter and the consumer but also give the industry a black eye. I know of 3 offering "bag sales" and I can't even count how many have died corals. PM me, I'll fill you in.
