| any freebies?? this may sound like a stupid question, and i may get laughed at, but i've always been told that you don't know what you can get unless you ask! so here goes:
Does anybody have any kind of freebies that they'd want to give away? i'm having slight money issues because of a medical situation/injury... sometime this year though, i should have a pretty good amount of money coming my way (also due to the injury)... anyway, i'm not trying to get free stuff, just to get it... i'm trying to gain experience (mainly with corals), "liven up" my aquarium (corals, fish, inverts, etc.), and just trying to spread good karma, the real karma not the points on 3reef...lol... i've got 1 or 2 plans, if this works out... either in the future (when i get the aforementioned money), i'll pay for whatever was given to me (i'm a man of my word), and/or, a year or so down the road, i'll do the same thing, give stuff away, maybe i've got a few decent corals or whatever, and someone else comes along asking for freebies, since it was given to me, i'll pass it along to them... i'm also thinking along the lines of a future trade...
some of the stuff i'd like to receive:
emerald crabs, peppermint shrimp, any kind of "beginner" coral, hermit crabs, snails, some sort of aiptasia control (IE, joes juice, send me a bottle and dropper, i'll use however much i need, send the bottle back, and we'll go from there), ministars.... DEFINATELY anything beneficial, and anything else, as long as its not harmful... |

| alright, i'll be getting the joes juice in the mail pretty soon, and as i promised, after i use what i need from it (which shouldn't be much, since i only have one aiptasia right now), i'll have a bottle to pass on! hopefully this will start something.... someone had mentioned somewhere about an temporary adoption deal with mythrax crabs and stuff... take them for a few weeks until whatever problem you have is gone, and then pass it on to someone else... |

| alright then, bruce is next on the list! i don't know how long it takes to send stuff through the mail, but if you want to PM me your address i'll write it down and send it to you as soon as i use it...
omard, doesn't a syringe come with it? also, i just read something... it says that the aiptasia will not retract while being fed, and you don't need to siphon it out after it dies... is this true, or is it still a good idea to suck it out? |
