So I settled for a 7550/13500 Gen that will run the tank, refrig., portable a/c, some lights, tv and a deep freezer. And if needed, turn everything off and turn the hot water on to take hot showers. It a matter of playing around with the power. You know, "take from peter to give to paul" deal. | SE Michigan is going through the same band of storms. We've been without power now 14 hours, and looking at Tues. or Wed. before we're restored. We're running a generator off the PTO on the tractor (which does run the whole house, amazingly), and the only thing I've noticed is the temperature is about 80. I'm crossing my fingers and cursing the price of diesel! |
