| 14000 gallon tank? so hypothetically speaking, say i wanted to turn my pool into a coral reef, would the sun work for lighting, also i am planning on having 8 6ft. ttall skimmers and such, how many fish/ corals could i fit, also could i scuba dive in it? oh one last thing i was thinking like 20,000 pounds of live sand, and like 10,000 pounds of live rock? what do you all thinK? |

| you would be the coolest person in your neighborhood! i think it would work...i mean, there are saltwater pools everywhere, and look at places like discovery cove...they make it work. too bad you would have to spend a zillion dollars on filtration, trying to compensate for salinity loss from rainwater, leaves and stuff falling on the surface, extreme temperature fluctuations, blah blah blah. maybe it's a project best left to sea world. |

| if its completely inside then i dont see why not ??? But the only thing im thinking is that somehow you would have to clean the pool after you empty the chlorine water in it now.......like when i say CLEAN I MEAN REALLY CLEAN IT LIKE MAKE SURE U GET EVERY BIT OF LIKE SPARKLING because any type of chemical from the pool could throw off your reef and kill everything
the sun as light i dont know about that ????? how warm is it where you live too ???
i mean this is sumthing you really wanna research before doing its going to be a very hard task to complete |
