alright, i'll join in....after all it was keeping a betta that finally led me to saltwater reefs. he (no name) is a beautiful vibrant blue male. his home is a 2.5 aga, a 50 watt finnex heater keeping the tank at a steady 76 degrees, a small rena 50 providing air to a marineland flexible bubble wand. i was using an aquaclear mini for awhile but it was too much circulation for him so i switched over to the bubble wand. all the decor is fake and i use distilled water w/kent betta bowl essentials to neutralize anything else in the water. he is definitely a picky eater...the only food he'll touch is hbh betta bites, which are pre-soaked in boyd's vitachem for freshwater. i tried everything from bloodworms to flakes but he definitely knows what he wants. excuse the glare but here's a picture...enjoy.
