Default stunting xenia

i may have found a new to me way of controlling xenia.my ph was 8.2 and my calcium was very high.i was told if i raise ph,calcium would lower?well anyway i raised it and the xenia shrunk within the hour.the next day it was back to normal.i raised ph again.my test kit only goes to 8.4 so i can't tell you for sure what its at.it looks like 8.4.the xenia has been shrunk for 3 days now.its still pulsing but is not growing and looks a lil more purple than its normal light pink.the pink is on the back glass.however i have yellow pulsing xenia that twists as it pulses.its towards the front of the tank.ph has'nt done anything to it.my lfs can't keep xenia long term and now i know why.some of their tanks have a ph of 9 or 11.i love to experiment with xenia.i just sold my lfs 50 stalks for $50 an i don't think they want more so i figure its time to slow them down so i don't have to start throwing them away.here's aphoto of the results.

i'd ship it to you for the cost of sending it but it would be dead when it got there.my tank hit 88 degrees yesterday so it would need ice packs or something.xenia is a very poor shipper ,it would send out clouds of slime from its insides and i'm certainly not experienced at shipping corals, sorry.

i'm in valencia,pa but closer to mars,pa. butler county. i'd give you 6 stalks of the pink stuff and maybe a stalk of the yellow stripe twisting xenia if your close enough to pick it up or meet me somewhere.i'd apriciate a frag of some sort in exchange.if you don't have a frag in exchange then you can still have the pink for free but you won't get the yellow for free.

the only 2 frags i have now are with brown zoathids . 1 has what i believe to be a green ricordia mushroom(which is my Fav.) cause this is my first reef. but when i get more frags maybe i will trade. or even when it starts to grow on live rock.

Ps. im near allentown.in a place called Tatamy. its boring here. nothing happens. all we do is mow the lawns and trim the hedges and watch TV.
