As the title says, I am new to frags. I just purchased a frag of ducan coral on a circular plug and am wondering how to remove the plug so I can place the frag on a piece of my LR. How do I do this?

For now, best thing to do is keep it on the frag plug and place it low in your tank, either in the sand bed or placed in a hole in live rock so that it won't get blown over. If it does well in that spot (as in at least a month), you can then cut the stem of the coral at the base as close as you can to the plug, then use an epoxy to hold it in place where you want. Most times you will find that corals overgrow their frag plugs anyways though, and so you won't need to remove them.
